Benefis Health System is pleased to announce the opening of the Benefis Med Spa and Vein Center, Great Falls' premier medical spa.

The public is invited to an open house Tuesday, March 31, from 2:30-6:30 p.m. at the spa's new suite on the Benefis West Campus. Enjoy wine and chocolate and view demonstrations of today's most advanced laser skin rejuvenation procedures.

The Benefis Med Spa and Vein Center offers laser varicose vein treatments, therapeutic massage and a full range of skin rejuvenation treatments with the world-renowned Cutera® laser system. Other aesthetic services include laser hair removal, Botox®, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and dermal fillers.

“We feel there's a need for these services, some of which we're bringing to Great Falls for the first time,” said the center's medical director, Roberto Amado-Cattaneo, MD. “We're combining beauty and science, offering state-of-the-art aesthetic technology in a relaxing, medically supervised environment.” Amado-Cattaneo is cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon and a leading expert in Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT) for varicose veins, a safe, in-office procedure which usually takes less than an hour.

Joining Amado-Cattaneo on the center's medical staff is Joyce Golden, RN, a Registered Aesthetic Nurse, Licensed Medical Aesthetician and Cosmetologist. For clients' relaxation and well-being, the Med Spa also offers a therapeutic massage program led by Penny Reynolds, a Certified Massage Therapist and Neuromuscular Therapist.

“Whatever treatments clients choose, they'll be taken care of by experts in a safe, relaxing environment,” said Amado-Cattaneo. “It's about giving our patients a sense of well-being, because when you look better you feel better.”
